1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Calendar4JW ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Calendar4JW is a free, open-source calendar and field service hour tracking application for Android devices. The App provides:

• Local calendar event management
• Integration with Google Calendar (optional)
• Integration with CalDAV/Nextcloud servers (optional)
• Field service hour tracking
• Event notifications
• Android home screen widgets

3. License

Calendar4JW is provided as open-source software under the MIT License. You are free to:

• Use the App for personal purposes
• View and modify the source code
• Distribute the App

4. User Accounts

Google Calendar Integration

• You may optionally connect your Google account to sync calendar events
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account credentials
• You can disconnect your Google account at any time from within the App

CalDAV Integration

• You may optionally connect to CalDAV/Nextcloud servers
• You are responsible for the security of your CalDAV credentials
• Credentials are stored locally on your device

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when using the App
• Keep your device secure and protect your data
• Not use the App for any illegal purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App (beyond what's available in the open-source code)
• Not use the App to violate any third-party rights

6. Data and Privacy

• All your data is stored locally on your device
• We do not collect, store, or have access to your data on remote servers
• When you sync with Google Calendar or CalDAV, data is exchanged directly between your device and those services
• Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information

While we strive to ensure data integrity:

• You are responsible for backing up your data (use the Export ICS feature)
• We are not responsible for any data loss that may occur
• Local data may be lost if you uninstall the App or clear app data

The App integrates with third-party services:

Google Calendar

• Subject to Google's Terms of Service
• Subject to Google's Privacy Policy
• We are not responsible for Google's services or policies

CalDAV Servers

• Subject to your CalDAV provider's terms
• We are not responsible for CalDAV server availability or data loss

Firebase App Distribution

• Used only for distributing test versions of the App
• Subject to Firebase's Terms of Service

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be:

• Posted in the GitHub repository
• Included in app release notes
• Effective immediately upon posting

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the App at any time
• Add or remove features
• Update the App with bug fixes and improvements

We are not obligated to provide updates but will make reasonable efforts to maintain the App.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiation
2. Mediation (if negotiation fails)
3. Applicable courts in Italy

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the developer regarding the use of the App.
